Mixed Open 1-4

We run a Mixed Open competition with Divisions 1 - 4 on Monday nights. This match play includes the Super Shot. Players must be 15 years of age or above to play in this section. Finals are played. All teams compete in a fixtured competition with Netball Australia rules.

Open 2 - intermediate skills

Open 3 - Proficient skills

Open 4 - Social skills

  • Games are played at Stonnington Sports Centre on a Monday evening. All matches indoors.

  • School, Club and independent teams welcome.

  • Please ensure you read our Bylaws to understand player fill-in requirements and other important bylaws.

  • Games are not fixtured on long weekends, public holidays or during school holidays (as defined by the Victorian Department of Education).

  • All players, coaches, officials and families are bound by the SCNA ByLaws and Codes of Conduct

  • All team and player registrations are run through the NetballConnect platform.

  • A participant’s annual Netball Victoria membership - which covers insurance & other benefits - will be paid during this process. You can learn more about NetballConnect here and about Netball Victoria membership here

  • The first 3 or 4 rounds are grading rounds and there may be some changes to the fixture after this time.

  • Registration for teams in Season 2, 2026 is Open and closes on 11th July 2026.

    • If you are with a Club team, please contact your Club for registration details. Please do not use the link on this page. This is for independent teams only.

    • To register an independent team directly into the competition, please follow this guide from Netball Victoria and click on the registration link to the right to register your team.

    • If you are a player with an independent team, please contact your Team Manager to receive the team registration link.

    • Fees:

      • Team Registration is $80+GST for the season.

      • Match fees are $87 +GST per match. A season invoice, which includes the Team Registration fee, will be issued to the Team Manager or Club after grading rounds.

      • No match fees are charged for byes.

      • Finals match fees are only charged if a team makes finals.

      • SCNA fee $5+GST per player. This covers our new Working with Children Check and Update system and also helps with facilities development and maintenance.

      • There are usually 15 rounds in a Season but byes will not be known until fixtures are finalised after grading rounds.

    • Season 2 Dates: Commences Monday 20th July and ends Monday 23rd November 2026.

    • Likely playing times 7.15pm - 10pm
